ST MARY QUEEN OF MARTYRS
l wish to thank the St Mary Queen of Martyrs school and the church of St Mary Queen of Martyrs for allowing me to visit. it was great to be able to have a look around the new church and see some items l knew came from our ST Marys church l am sure like the priest said there must be many more items from our church there but due to the lack of documents there is no evidence to say which they are .

Once again l would like to thank David Smallwood (Middlesbrough Diocesan archivist) for sending me some more information on st Marys school the site has now got a full list of the priests who served at St Marys

many thanks to John O'Connor who on hearing they where pulling down the old school,rushed down to wilton street and took photographs of the school just before it was demolished.John who went to school with Marie Brown's brother gave Marie copies of some of the photographs he had taken. Marie Brown (Hildyard) has kindly given her permission for me to display the photographs on the site.
